Basic IM Certification

Basic IM Certification:

This course welcomes OT/COTAs; SLP/SLPAs; PT/PTAs; ATCs; Educators; Licensed Rehabilitation, Medical, and Mental Health Professionals; Psychiatrists; Neurologists; Psychologists; and Chiropractic Care Professionals.

No Prior knowledge of IM is required.

This stimulating workshop includes a clinical basis, research findings, and clinical application to various patient populations, with extensive hands-on experience and interaction throughout the one-day course.
Upon completion of the course, participants will be fully certified and well able to demonstrate a working knowledge of both technical and clinical applications of the Interactive metronome (IM).

Advanced Paediatrics IM Certification

This advanced paediatrics course is open to IM certified practitioners, wanting to develop specific skills in the use of IM with a paediatric population. Innovative application of the IM tool is explored, including assessment and intervention planning based on key paediatric diagnostic applications; application of IM in a group setting; application of IM in play; parent and child communication

IM HOME Certifications.

IM-HOME allows the patient to practice at home and save time traveling to and from your facility.

IM-Home is the Interactive Metronome (IM) for home-use. IM has been used for years to help you reach your brain and body’s full potential and now you do not need to go to the clinic to get the benefits. A specialist works with you to help you complete our research-based program and gives you the tools for continued success.

Who might benefit:

Patients who are limited in how many times they can come to your clinic each week due to school/work schedules, distance, insurance or financial limitations.
Patients who would benefit from continued IM exercises even after they have been discharged for meeting their therapy goals.
Patients suffering from a degenerative condition who would benefit from daily IM exercises.

This advanced adult course is open to IM certified practitioners, wanting to develop specific skills in the use of IM with an adult population. Innovative application of the IM tool is explored, including assessment and intervention planning based on key adult diagnostic applications.
